The Team

Hazel - Manager/DSL

I began my childcare journey in 1985, studying at Mid Warwickshire College. In over 30 years within this sector I have worked as a private nanny, nursery nurse, room leader and a manager at another setting. In 2009 I took the role as Manager at this setting.

I believe strongly in investing in staff by keeping them up to date with new Early Years approaches, providing valuable training and allowing them to express their thoughts and ideas to expand the childs learning. The bond between a child and his/her key worker is often the first relationship a child has outside of the family unit. I’m proud that we work on what we believe is right for every child, which is all children develop and learn through play at their own rate, in a welcoming, secure setting. All the staff – office based or room based – work lovingly and closely with the children and look at ways to ignite their confidence, creativity, learning and understanding of the world around them.

Brittany – Finance Manager

Sarah - Qualified Early Years Practitioner

Hello, my name is Sarah and I am a key worker for Butterflies green group.  After leaving 6th form, I worked as a PA in the financial service industry for 15years before having my own children. After having 2 children I began training for an Early Years career.  This is one of the best decisions I have made as I love working with children and seeing them grow and develop.  I completed my Level III qualification in March 2023 and have also received Level II qualification in Understanding Autism.  I began working at Coten End Preschool in April 2023.  I look forward to meeting you soon.

Hannah – Preschool Cook

Hello, my name is Hannah, I am the cook at Coten End Preschool.  I have been a fulltime mum to my 3 children for a number of years and decided it was time to get back to work, when I saw the advertisement for a cook.  I’m so glad I did, everyone at the setting is lovely and I love cooking home cooked food for the children.

Sinead – Early Years Assistant

Hello.  I decided to have a change of employment direction in November 2023 and then began my journey in Early Years, at this time.I decided to change employment due to having a young child myself and realising how much fun children are and how they use their imaginations daily.I have enjoyed my first few months at the setting seeing children making light of life and seeing fulfillment on the smallest of things.I am hoping to start an apprenticeship in Early Years when I have completed my probation period. I have 2 boys, one at preschool presently and one at school.
